Imaginative Graphic-Adventure on the Xbox

carnalidge, epinions.com
15 March 2010
  • Summary: A contemporary perspective on the point-and-click genre. A unique experience on the xbox that displays strong aesthetic detail and creative storytelling. Absolutely NOT for hardcore-action enthusiasts!
  • Pros: - Story-driven puzzles - refreshing point-and-click gamplay - Beautiful detailed graphics
  • Cons: - Quirky controls - Annoying Invisible boundaries - Puzzles can be frustrating - PC version may look better

Quite a good game

  • Summary: After finishing Dreamfall I wanted something similar to play and this was one of the options. It is a good game and the graphics are good, but can be a little slow and difficult to control the characters directions. Worth it for the money though.

A good conclusion rather than good sequel

  • Summary: If you played the original Syberia chances are that it was on PC or PS2. The XBox EU PAL version was allegedly released here but I've never seen a UK copy. Why does this matter? Well the fact is that if you haven't done Syberia then Syberia 2 will seem like coming in on a film already half over. It's really more a continuation than a sequel. To explain the story would be to spoil half the adventure usually but in Syberia 2 the story is largely absent.
