Summary: Awesome game, great controller, like no other. No tutorial to speak of, but avid gamers will catch on quickly. Would highly reccommend for the non-serious gamer. An enjoyable and complicated, detailed game.
Summary: This game and controller are everything I was hoping for. The controller when placed on a desk and with the foot peddle combination gives you that realistic feeling that I wanted. The controller takes some time to get use to and some buttons are only used upon starting your Mech but as you do you can soon forget the complications and enjoy the game. The ejection button does make it a bit difficult to eject in time sometimes but it beats ejecting by accident.
Summary: Steel Battalion is expensive but fun. It comes with controllers to play the game. The footpeddles are sturdy. In Steel Battalion, you pilot a VT(vertical tank) though missions. The mech controls well even though the controls are hard to get used to. You generally have allies in these mission that help you comple your objectives. For the most part, these missions are hard. A flaw in Steel Battalion is the fact that there are not enough missions.
Summary: aight guys basically this is a great game if youre willing to learn. i dont have the game my self but my friend does and he let me play it a few times and basically the first time you play it ur most liekly gunna be like darn this game is so confusing and this controler is like wacked out but the more u play and the more u learn wats in the game and the more u actually get use to the controller you will absolutely love it.
Summary: This game got a pretty fair review from game website. As far as the presentation goes, it is the most impressive game I have ever seen. I always dream to be able to control a giant robot. And I think this is as close as it gets for now. The controller with 40 buttons adds realism to the game. It is a definite must have for all the hard core gamer. I believe that this game will soon go online in 2003.
Summary: This game is hands down fun. I have been a fan of mech simulations for years, starting with the original Mech Warrior and the BattleTech Universe. This game is just plain crazy. the controller adds so much to it. and alot of bass from your TV cant hurt either :-). But for the casual gamer, this is a rental (if you can). For anyone who wishes to have the most fun they can with a 40 foot tall walking tank, buy it! AND THE SEQUAL WILL BE OUT SOON AND "X-BOX LIVE!
Summary: I really enjoyed the first game but found it pretty hard, not to control but just the game difficulty in places was frustrating, and although dieing and having your gamesave deleted is a neat idea in realisty it sucks, ejecting isnt too hard but what is annoying is that if you run out of cash you have to start again too, so you get to level 8 or whatever, get 3 go's in then you have to start again GGGGRRRR, so more about this one, on line games seem pretty hard to get in...
