Starsky & Hutch Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: While there is a resurgence of 70’s television culture nowadays, when compared with present day crime dramas, Starsky & Hutch just can’t measure up. Unfortunately, this happens to be the same fate of the videogame as well. While the gameplay is the best part of this game, it still ends up being average at best.

Starsky & Hutch (Xbox)

12 October 2005
  • Excerpt: Platform: Xbox, PS2, GC, PC, GBA ESRB Rating: T for Teen (Violence) Players: 1-2 Overview Back in September of 1975, the Starsky & Hutch TV pilot first aired. The show quickly became a success, and ran for 4 seasons. In recent years, attempts have been made to revive the classic in the form of DVD?s, a movie, and of course, a video game. Gameplay The game plays out like a pretty standard mission-based driving game - chase a car and shoot it before the time runs out.

20 October 2003
  • Conclusion: afros and, more often than not, plenty of doomed cardboard boxes. And that pretty much sums up Empire Interactive's new title, Starsky & Hutch for Xbox and PS2. It's a fun game with a funky soundtrack, and it goes where few titles fear to tread -- successfully pulling off a campy sense of humor.

5 March 2002
  • Excerpt: It has been far too long since a game that had the pretension to adorn the infamous name of 'Batman' was true to the franchise's legacy. I find it hard to believe that any iteration of the game, short of the original N.E.S. version is worth its weight in bat-feed. Nevertheless, we must keep an open mind my fellow bat-friends, what with the introduction of such radically improved videogame hardware and all. So does Batman: Vengeance live up to the legendary legacy?

Batman: Vengeance

19 October 2001
  • Conclusion: Overall, Batman: Vengeance is an OK game that arrived at the wrong time. There’s just too many other great games this month to recommend this, even to someone who likes the show or Batman in general. You should buy this game if you love Batman, but you should not buy this game if you want something worth 50 dollars. The choice is yours.

Starsky & Hutch

22 March 2005
