  • Excerpt: When creating a sequel to a popular game, there are a few ways you can go about it. Primarily, you can create a whole new game, trying to keep the best of what went before, or you can say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," and create a new game that is essentially just the old game in a new setting. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords clearly falls into the second category, even employing a tweaked version of the same game engine as the original.

  • Excerpt: Whether you do the prologue or not, you end up with your main character waking up in a medical tank on the mining station in the asteroid field of Peragus II. From here, you will be able to take your first steps as your main character, who starts out as a Jedi this time, and you will get your first two party members: a mysterious old woman named Kreia, and a scoundrel named Atton.

  • Excerpt: Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords (KOTORII) is a sequel to one of the best and one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2003. But, does the sequel live up to all the expectations that were set for it? Before we get into the review I'll judge the game based on these categories: graphics, sound/music, storyline, game play, and general fun. I will score each category our of 10.

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: A great game that many players will find irritatingly familiar. Graphical shortcomings aside, The Sith Lords is an amazing package that delivers the thrill of a Star Wars movie with ease. An engrossing plot and interesting, original characters separate this game from the crowd.

  • Excerpt: In 2003, Knights of the Old Republic hit the market to much acclaim from many critics. Being in development for so long, many had high hopes for this new Star Wars game and it delivered. This action packed RPG brought you into a world of choices and destiny through the force. On top of that, we were given a compelling story to go along with it. By the end of the year, KOTOR had won more than 40 Game of the Year awards from major magazines and websites.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
