Star Wars Jedi Starfighter Review

Conclusion: LucasArts has taken what was a decent game and made it a solid effort for the Xbox. Jedi Starfighter is a new level of gaming that Starfighter SE lacked. With the addition of the ability to utilize the Force to assist you on your mission, Jedi Starfighter lets players get a feel for gaming they haven’t experienced before. In the past, Star Wars combat titles allowed you to play as skilled pilots, but not Jedi masters.
Excerpt: Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter review Game Over Online - http://www.game-over.com When it came around to the release of Episode II, LucasArts was at it again with a major Episode II game release on nearly every platform. For the Xbox, you'll be looking at Jedi Starfighter, a spiritual sequel to Starfighter SE, released not too long ago.
Excerpt: Considering the space combat takes a back seat in Episode II, save for a
thrilling battle amongst asteroids, Jedi Starfighter, being a game that
emphasizes space combat, has a fair bit of leeway in terms of creative
freedom. You'll still pilot the nimble fighter that Obi-wan used during
the film. It's a quick fighter, very agile, much like the original
trilogy's A-wing. The Jedi ship is only equipped with lasers so the
equalizer is the introduction of Force powers.
Conclusion: Admittedly, Jedi Starfighter is not the deepest of space sims, but at the same time it captures the atmosphere, and most importantly, the fun of combat in the Star Wars universe. Fans of the old PC sims may find it a little shallow, but for everyone else, Jedi Starfighter is a highly entertaining space shooter, and well worth checking out.
Pros: looks great and handles well, music and sound effects are excellent, plenty of unlockables adds some replayability
Cons: campaign is pretty short and easy, multiplayer mode is a bit weak, it's pretty simple, and lacking depth
Summary: "Of course you get the chance to fly the "Attack of the clones" Jedi Starfighter, which allows you to use Force powers whilst flying" "The controls in Jedi Starfighter are identical to the original game, which means that the game is very easy to control apart from the targeting system, which can become very frustrating"
Conclusion: Med samma grafikmotor finns inga större förbättringar i denna uppföljare, men det håller fortfarande klart över godkänd klass.
