Conclusion: Alright so you start off as a jedi who gets in a plane crash..Uh okay and then u meet up with this guy that you can tell that isn't exacty...Well you can tell he gets mad easily. Anyways each time you beat a mission you can get another force power or upgrade one you already have. Some missions are stupid, like activating random bombs in a station.
Conclusion: The star wars liscese has developed many games in the past few years. The quality has ranged from bad(Force commander) to terrific (knights of the old republic). The jedi knight series has always stayed at the top of the terrific list with jedi outcast the best in the series. Now a sequil comes are way again and it's well not terrific but it's definetly not bad.
Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy (Xbox): Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy for Xbox
19 November 2008
Summary: Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy for Xbox has some nice graphics and some good gameplay. The game allows you to go around in first or third person and try and defeat the dark side of the force. The good thing about this game is the different variety of force powers you have, such as force lightning and force heal. The games levels are not overally massive but you can ride vehicles on certain levels, not many though.
Pros: Good graphics, ride vehicles, multiplayer, lots of weapons and force powers, good sized levels
Cons: Not as advances as games today, can get boring after a while, not for non star wars fans
Excerpt: "...not a character from any star wars story doesn't feature anywhere but in this game (and the events that are part of it). The reason for this is that the player gets to choose what Jaden looks like. The Game starts with character creation, where the player can choose from a selction of species; heads; clothes and light saber configurations (what Jedi would be complete without a saber). Once this is done the initial cutscene starts and the game begins ...
Pros: character customisation, easy controls, good graphics
Summary: With many attempts of Lucas Art to perfect a franchise in the gaming world not living up to expectations such as many of the recent film titles (Phantom Menace Game, Revenge of the Sith Game). I was suprised when i found a liking to this first person style game. Although the "Star wars : KNights of the old republic" Duo of titles have made a name from themselves and I can myself see the playability of the game however I found the fact its set no where near the films with...
Summary: I have just finished playing this game and have found it on the whole very enjoyable. The game play is fairly fast and the controls easy to master the graphics are not spectacular but OK with a first or third person view depending on weapons. character progression is handled well through the game giving you the option to increase your force powers before each new mission.
Summary: Overall a worthy addition to the vast range of Star Wars computer games available. I completed it a little too quick but on a higher difficulty setting I imagine I would have spent a little more time on it. After playing the excellence of Knights of the Old Republic before I bought this game I was a little annoyed at the restricted freedom but Jedi Academy is not a RPG and it was released before.
Summary: The game Jedi Academy is a decent Star Wars game brought to you by Activision. The graphics for this game are slightly dated but it's good Light Saberin' action! Even if your not a fan of Star Wars i'd recommend you give the game a try, rent before you buy. Soon you will learn all the moves from running up walls and back flipping off them! You have 3 choices of Light Saber....
