The Force Grows Dark

pdoyle007, Ciao

  • Excerpt: When you think of some of the more common aspects of a platform computer game some of the ideas that come to mind are a character that has a cool sword, perform super human feats and has a sprinkling of magic powers thrown in. These ideas have been the staple of these games for generations, and have also been the staple of the Star Wars films since the later '70s. However strangely the two have never really connected.
  • Pros: Fun
  • Cons: Easy and Little Replay

A Step In The Right Direction For Star Wars Games

JJBDude, Ciao
10 October 2005
  • Excerpt: Star Wars games have never really been as good as they deserve to be. The films are great and they warrant decent games to be made from them, and after Lego Star Wars fairing pretty well Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith does okay. First off is Single Player mode, where you journey through the film with Anakin and Obi Wan.
  • Pros: Lots of combos, multiplayer, unlockables
  • Cons: Graphics, slugish combat,  little replay value,

A Game That Could Of Been Exellent Turned Into a Living Hell

  • Summary: Well how could I put it that this game is one of the worst games ever. I can tell you that it's one of the most boring hack and slash games ever and how it only takes 3 hours to finish and how you will catch your self doing the same moves over and over again and you can judge how bad the game is going to be before you even play it, just look at Anakins hair then you'll know how much crap this game is.

fun till it dawns on you

  • Summary: being a massive star wars fan i couldnt wait to play the newest game in the franchise, and yes i was buzzing as i opened it up with the thoughts of playing as obi wan and anakin. the game starts up with movie footage (a plus) and the hum of a lightsabre is heard...then you move round...and it goes wrong. the lack of good camera angles, the repetitive elements in the levels, the force that isnt as great as you'd think it should be.

Disappointing

  • Summary: Too put it straight, it is not a good game. I bought it thinking it will be as fun as the Jedi knight series but it is so not. The good point first, the graphic are ok and it is about star wars so if you want to see some preview of the movie before going to see the movie, but you have as much information than in any good review. Anyway, the bad stuff now, the game play is bad, it is based in old principal and just don t work.
