Summary: I grew up playing this game, and was really pleased to find a copy of it to start again. The gameplay is fun and easy, allowing you to make some progress purely through button-bashing, but challenging enough to keep you practising and learning new tricks to let you advance and unlock new levels. My favourite levels are the halfpipes- impossible heights and insane tricks! Solo games enable you to improve your selected player, and give you a wider range of activities.
SSX is definitely Tricky, but I find myself coming back for more!

Excerpt: SSX is an amazing game, in many different aspects. You start off choosing to play World Tour, which is achievement-based where you ride new mountains and runs, trying to get better each time. When you've completed two hills, you move to the Deadly Descent, which is different for each region.
Pros: great graphics, great game for sound and music, many different game modes, easy to understand
Excerpt: Why am I reviewing a game from years back, which although playable on the XBOX 360, was designed for the Playstation2 and the original XBOX, and therefore cannot compare graphically to the new technology? Because the game is outstanding, that's why, and I want the makers to realise what a good thing they were on to, and at least attempt to replicate the gameplay experience inherent on SSX3, instead of wowing us with new graphics which look pretty, but soon get boring.
Pros: Addictive game play, character progression, rewards, stunning scenery
Cons: Not matched by any other SSX game in the genre, not a simulator
Excerpt: This game I bought a while back, but its still on top of my most played games. I still haven't achieved everything on it, but thats the beauty of the game. You can play as a variety of players, my favourite is moby. you can acquire skill points and gadgets, different boards and equipment, ie glasses, coats, clothes, etc along the way. you start off on mountin peak one, which is basically beginners, you have low targets to get medals.
Pros: good graphics, excellent move capabilities
Cons: sometimes you can get jammed under a rock, one or 2 bugs
Excerpt: SSX 3 is the snowboarding sequal from the good people at Electronic Arts, and yet again they manage to create something good, like any other of their sport titles. Well what can i say, it's a snowboarding game set amongst 3 different peaks on the same mountain and the more you progress, the tougher it gets, a way to test your abilities. You have several game modes.
Pros: great graphics, nice soundtracks, loads of features to unlock
Excerpt: I begin again! I am new to Ciao and writing reviews! I didn't want to write too much but i guess i should have started from the beginning. So SSX3 is a really good game. For those who have never played SSX before it is a snowboarding game with courses down a mountain where you can perform tricks and obtain points. There are races and jumps and pipes, all sorts!.
