Conclusion: This is a pretty darn good game! With screaming allies, beheaded enemies, and really, really hard bosses, you could say that this is one darn good game! You take control of a Spartan warrior battling for his homeland, which is blessed by the gods.
Summary: This is, actually, a good game. The gameplay is frenetic and satisfying... up to a point. About halfway through, the learning curve takes a vertical ascent. In over twenty years of gameplay, this is the first game I have shattered, shuriken style, against the wall.
Summary: I don't normally review but this game is really underated. I'm 35, an ex-squaddie & love action games, this one is right up there with Star Wars Battlefront 1,2 & Rogue trooper - which is just terrific.
Excerpt: I picked up this games just as the swords ans sandles craze was perking. After 'Gladiator' and 'Troy' and with games like 'Rome Total War' around I was interested to see how a game on the xbox - primarily a console - would do.
Summary: This game is very good if you like sword games or the myths and legends about heroic warriors. Graphics are good, story is also quite good, not one to be played over and over though because the levels aren't that exciting. No upgradable moves or anything, just a ranged attack and a melee attack.
