Summary: This is a great game, it has a great story, good single player mode but most importantly it was unlike no other game back then. All the new Soul Calibur games arent quiet like this one, SC 2 had the best voices, the biggest Astaroth, Nightmare was more badass, plus Spawn was the best speacial guest...
Summary: WHEN I WAS 4, I STARTED TO PLAY THIS GAME. THEN, MY UNCLE GAVE ME HIS XBOX (ORIGINAL) I COULDNT GET OVER THIS GAME! NEVER GETS OLD, EPIC STORY, AND INSANE FIGHTS! BUT THEN MY XBOX BROKE. BTW IM WRITING THIS 8 YRS AFTER I STARTED TO PLAY :-P
Conclusion: Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast was considered to be a classic to this day. With brilliant graphics, an insane amount of extra modes, and promising gameplay, it was no surprise that it garnered the attention it did. This might be why Namco both released a sequel and put it on all three consoles.
Excerpt: Being a massive fan of soul blade ( playstation one) when i saw this namco product in the shops i just had to buy it and rush home to play it In all fairness the game is just another fighting game but i love it!!!.
Summary: Simply put, this is amazing. Soul calibur 2 is the second best fighter ever, second only to the dreamcast prequel. In this game there are literally hundreds of things to do in this game, but the best thing is you have to work for them, complete arcade mode to unlock extra arcade ect.
