Conclusion: Well... where to start? Perhaps I'll start with the fact that this game sucks... Its awful the AI is complete muck, the graphics look like something you would get on a N64 and the gameplay is sluggish and repetitive! The only saving grace this game has is the ghoul II engine that allows you to dismember people... other than that the game is horrible, I'm glad I bought this game pre-owned...
Summary: Back as John Mullins in this high gore feast. If you`ve got limbs kiss them goodbye. This first person shooter is not a bad game, but is not thrilling and has a vague storyline. First the graphics are below average, mainly the terrain detail that lacks polish. It looks dull on many levels, and the designers must have a fetish for shades of green. Cut scenes are ok, but the worst thing about this game is the sound.
Summary: If you have played this game on the PC you will have played a great game, comprising of good graphics and a realistic battle gameplay. So when this game came out on the Xbox, naturally you think that the same results will be achieved. The problem is that the results on the Xbox version are poor to say the least. There are some good points on this game and these should be pointed out.
Summary: I am a huge fan of first person shooter games, I love the Half Life series and played QUake online for hours, and I heard that Soldier Of Fortune 2 was coming out so I knew I had to get it. I bought it and then started to play it and at first I was thinking wow this is so cool you can throw your knife into someone and then chop up his head with it (pretty simple thoughts).
Summary: I have to admit to buying this game a little blind, but the first game had a good reputation and it was number one in the Xbox chart, so I can't be buying anything duff, can i? Well, I did. Soldier of Fortune II is a huge disappointment. Dull, functional and very dark graphics combine with average and repetitive gameplay to give a game that will interest you for a few minutes but disappoint for months. The graphics are the biggest problem.
