Conclusion: If you like horror/survival games, this is defenately something for you. I am a fan myself and absolutely loved the game. The story is very intriging and makes you wanna keep on playing. There are some riddles/puzzles in the game but none are to hard to solve, so even if you don't like that kind of stuff, you'll still like the game. You will be visiting some very different worlds with each their own trademarks.
Conclusion: I'll be blunt. If you like survival/horror games, that you will enjoy this. If you don't than don't bother. You also need to be literate. That means there are parts in the game, most of it, that involves a strong understanding of words and their meaning. Definitely not for idiots, or people whom have trouble solving word problems. The story is as expected from a Silent Hill game. A very in depth, horrifying, plot and sub-plot.
Great Silent Hill Game. Must have for fans of series

Summary: The fourth and last entry in the series developed by team silent. The ill fated series would then be shipped off to less talented western developers making this the last good silent hill. The Story Henry Townsend finds himself trapped in his apartment, room 302. It isn’t set in Silent Hill itself, but the neighbouring town of Ashville. Room 302 is where a series of brutal murders took place and so is cursed.
Summary: Silent hill 4 the room was an enjoyable experience for the most part the atmosphere tension and horror aspect are there but in small doses the ghost enemy is not scary but just irritating. Having to keep going back to the apartment every time to save and put items in the chest is very irritating but despite all this I would still recommend this game for the very good story line
Excerpt: Silent Hill 4, was, and still is my favourite video game to date. It reminded me so much of those Japanese games where you had to escape from a room by moving things and using your initiative. Story (No Spoilers) The story starts off simple enough, you play as Henry Townsend who recently suffers from severe headaches and intense nightmares. His phone is cut, neighbours can’t hear his cries for help, and the windows and doors are sealed shut.
Too complex for it's own good, but not the worst of the series...

Summary: It's easy to not like Silent Hill 4 because it was the weakest of the series on release - but in retrospect, especially having played Origins, it's a much better game than I gave it credit for. It's not the first time a Silent Hill game has started outside Silent Hill, but it's the first time it's stayed out.
Summary: Silent Hill has always been a cult faveorite in pretty much every gamers mind, in some way its always been pinned lovingly on a gamers thumb. But the fourth game in the series is quite a diffrent fare. The gameplay is superb for a SH game, with gritty, scary graphics, great controls and ugly flesh monsters all knocking the atmosphere up to 11, its scary, violent, and strangly sexy in places.
Summary: I hadn't played a survival horror game since Resident Evil on the PS1 but the good reviews that this game was receiving made me decide to give it a go. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. From the first five minutes of playing I found myself cursing the camera angles which reminded me of why I dropped the survival horror games in the first place.
