Pathetic attempt at a video game

Summary: After 30 minutes of game play my character walked about 100 miles through thick fog and junk graphics. I came to 6 dead-ends, and killed like 5 guys (which is really hard when the player control totally sucks). I've played this type of game before and usually they are ok. But if this game moved any slower it would be on pause. If you are looking for a game with a creepy feel, then this is it. But if you are looking for a game to entertain you...pick something else.
Summary: This was my first attempt at the horror genre. The game is certainly creepy, and has some great scenes, but I didn't find it captivating at all. The game was just too slow. The plot was on the corny side, but it had a few nice surprises. I think the biggest problem was that you couldn't just spend an hour here and there for this game. It required large chunks of time to really get into it. Too bad, because it looked like it had potential.
Summary: Initially I read a review by an XBox magazine, stating it had 15-16 hours of gameplay. I've done it on normal and beat it in a few minutes over 9. The only difficult thing about it is the camera. It's VERY bad. I played "The Thing" before, and in online reviews on Amazon, general complaints about that game was that you can't look up or down when you're in 3rd person mode. Well, at least there you can shift into 1st person mode, albeit not move.
Summary: Ok. This game i rented hoping to have a good action-storyline based game. Well theres a story line, and i have to day its a good one. But the fun in this game lacks, its can be addictive, but unless you have alot of time on your hands, its not really great. The graphics are top notch the gameplay is good, the setup overall is good. But after paying for awhile i lost intrest and put it down.
Summary: As mentioned by others, the spooky fog is really nice. The begining story ( wife's letter, go through spooky graveyard, meet the first monster in the town ) is intersting. But, after getting into the apartment building ( it's not easy to figure out too ), the game becomes really boring. I get in and out of different rooms trying to find those tiny coins and keys in order to progress to next step.
Summary: This isn't necessarily a bad game, but I found the difficult controls and awkward fighting to be annoying. Fans of Max Payne, Halo, and other games of that ilk should consider renting this game before buying it.
