Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams Review
11 March 2010
Conclusion: If you were a fan of the original Silent Hill you should find yourself right at home and pleased with this continuation of the series that picks up right where the first one left off. Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams is more of the same thing you would have liked about the original, just in a more defined and detailed environment. The town has never looked better, sounded more frightening, or just plain scared the crap out of you like it does on the Xbox.
Excerpt: This just in: Konami makes interesting games with characters that aren’t named Snake. I know that it is hard to comprehend these days, but in fact it is true. It has been met with critical acclaim for its incredible story lines and realistic characters. The series? Silent Hill. While not as action-packed as Metal Gear Solid, it has more than enough to scare the crap out of you. Silent Hill 2 begins relatively oddly, in a bathroom of a rest area.
Excerpt: It was two o' clock in the morning - half-eaten pizza rolls on the table, the sound of my friend's cat playing with his string toy on the floor, the lamp that would only light half the room, my leg twitching as I nervously adjusted my seated position over and over, and then the school, dear god the school.
Conclusion: Fantastiskt snyggt gjort.
