Conclusion: I give it a 8.5 - Good first person shooter with some great scenery. They really should go to a check-point save system, instead of having to play the damn mission all over again (if you screw-up). Just makes for better flow of game play and not so boring. Playing the same thing over and over again just doesn't make sense when all the great games are using a check-point save system already. Why don't these guys?
Conclusion: I'll make this brief. I think Shadow Ops has a fantastic singleplayer game, one of the best FPS available for Xbox. The Xbox Live implementation is iffy, but that's not where the developers focused. If you're looking for a great singleplayer experience, buy this game. On a scale of 0 to 10, I'd give it a 9.3. I am grading the singleplayer experience. p.s.

Summary: Everyone who owns an Xbox is aware of the huge number of First person shooters available. I own quite a few, but have played none better than Shadow Ops Red Mercury. The atmosphere created by the cut scenes and general gameplay is very gritty, if feels like being in a real warzone. Stealth and cunning is the order of the day, go running in all guns blazing and you'll be dead quickly. There is an excellent feature where you can lean around corners to blast enemies.
Summary: I have never written an on line review before, but having purchased this game a month ago i've played nothing else since, and i feel compelled to do so. One of the mysteries about this game is the fact i had never heard of it. It makes nobody's top ten games in listmania and yet i think it just might be the finest FPS ever. Better than Halo? yes i think it is.
Summary: This is a fantastic first person shooter with great atmosphere and loads of action. Many parts are like Black Hawk Down, but there is plenty of diversity in the environments, from Jungle to City, even on a train. The sound is fantastic, often making me jump out of my skin (particularly if I'm using headphones), graphics are detailed and smooth, enemy AI is smart (most of the time) and lifespan - well, many games fob you off with a dozen or so levels - not here - 25 long...
Summary: When i bought this game im was worried that it was just going to be a normal fps. But to my amazement it wasnt, in fact it was one of the best games i had ever played. I was amazed by the detail in the environments and i thought some of the setpeices were superb. shadow ops red mercury is a stunning game and i would reccomend it to anyone.
Summary: I have only just purchased this game about two days ago and already I'm having great fun...... Features such as taking dudes out from a far with sniper rifles, melee in small confine spaces to not get hurt and taking out the enemy and blowing up large enemy vehicles! One particular aspect I like about this game is when the levels are loading there are some really useful tips that appear at the top of the screen to help you along with the game play and really help you to...
Summary: I bought shadow ops on the day of release after playing a demo i got with a magazine. The single player game is chalenging and good to play. I mainly purchased this game due to being an xbox live subsriber and this game being online is a great asset to many other games that are live at the moment. The weapons are of a god variety and so are also the types of games and maps that are available to choose form.
