Shadow Ops: Red Mercury Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: It’s really hard not to like an Xbox exclusive title that packs so much onto a single shiny disc. I whine from time to time about games that are too short and have little values when compared to their lofty price tags. SORM is one of the best values when considering that it fully supports Live and System Link play, has HD graphics support, and one of the best audio tracks ever laid down in a video game.

  • Conclusion: Shadow Ops: Red Mercury starts out pretty fun in the campaign mode but as you work your way though it you will notice that the game starts to drag on after a while. The gameplay is pretty fast and has enough going on it to keep you from becoming bored. The multiplayer portions of the game are not great but can be fun if you’re lucky enough to find good competitors.

Shadow Ops: Red Mercury

  • Conclusion: Atari made big noises about Shadow Ops: Red Mercury’s Hollywood-style production values, and an exciting intro will leave you in no doubt that this game badly wants to be a super-glamorous and action-packed Rainbow Six – you can almost hear the designers saying “We want George Clooney to play the lead in the movie”…
  • Pros: The cinematic cut scenes are good., Superb sound., Top co-op mode., Neat aiming mode.
  • Cons: Occasional frame rate problems and graphical glitches., No online co-op., It’s truly awful on Xbox Live anyway.

Shadow Ops - Red Mercury - Review (Xbox)

Konsolen-World

  • Conclusion: Insgesamt kann das Spiel überzeugen.
