mediocre

smithy1 , GameStop

  • Summary: just a run of the mill racing game. i do have a few complaints the controls are a little out of place but you can get used to it. also the car design is like the ones on the dreamcast still sega could of utilized the xbox's capabilities a little more. and the difficulty is outrageous. but its ok i would reconmend forza 1 or gran turismo 3 or 4. but this is still worth a look at.

Sega GT 2002 Reader Review - 5.2

DaDiesel06, IGN Entertainment

  • Conclusion: When I first played Sega GT 2002 in the store I thought that It would be a great game, but I was wrong. The graphics are alright and gameplay to me is just mediocre. Aside from those faults, the game has a decent selection of Cars. Not a whole lot, but a respectable amount. The tuning of the cars is alright, at times a constant irritant. They could have done without the damage meter, and the constant overhauling of the car parts. The tracks in this game were decent.

the Best

  • Summary: I am 21 years old and I have been playing this game sinxe I was 11... This is by far, arguably the best aliens or predator game in terms of variety of gameplay, storyline, and options in terms of gameplay. This game has alot of exlcusive aliens an predator features and lore which wont be found anywhere else, this game never gets old and I play it to this day, I even went out of my way to buy a sealed copy for collecting and an unsealed for playing!!

Ridiculous

Mr. J. Davy "Jonno P D", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: The most pathetic excuse for a game I have ever come across on the Xbox! Ecco the dolphin is more fun. The 80's arcade version of Aliens was an intense FPS. Any Doom player & Alien fan would be proud to own it. ..this is like a low quality demo that you have to set waypoints for so it knows what to display next. Biggest waste of money as I didn't have time to return it & I'm guessing it's too late now so I'm infuriated with this rubbish!

  • Summary: Different for a change in the usual Alien games which tend to be first shooter. Not bad but is very basic.

Dreadful

The Fault, amazon.co.uk
11 May 2005
  • Summary: Sega GT 2002 is a dreadful game. I bought it thinking it was the Xbox's answer to Gran Turismo. In truth, it's not even close. It has a lot of cars (although so do a lot of racing games these days) and is full of customisation options. But it's just so dull. The tracks are ever so bland to drive on, the graphics are hardly groundbreaking (don't believe the screenshots on the back of the box as the game does not look as good as that), the sound effects are just plain...

  • Summary: Well having read some of the reviews I feel the need to stand up for Sega GT2002, ok ive not played many racing games as i find them a bit boring but GT2002 got me hooked. The main reason being the upgrade facilities , which do realy enhance the performance, I started with a small hatch peugeot 206, got some places and ended up with a fully packaged beast, full racing gear and tuned to perfection it got me through to the third licence level easilly, whereupon i got a...
