Monster 4x4 World Circuit Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: The bottom line on Monster 4X4 World Circuit ? It is a budget title that shows it in many ways. The game is just far too slow paced to provide any exciting moments, and the controls are much too sluggish to be fun. The gameplay modes are lacking as well, and while there seems to be more there when looked at on paper, the diversity just isn’t there. Production values are rather low as well, as the visual style and audio offerings fall well below the average mark.

  • Excerpt: In this case, you are Scooby-doo. Unlike Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem, you are not joined together with Shaggy. You are collecting edibles and clues to solve a mystery.

Scooby-Doo! Unmasked Review

23 September 2005
  • Excerpt: The average player probably won't get much out of Scooby-Doo! Unmasked, but younger players and fans of the cartoon will definitely want to give it a look. As a game, it's nothing special--just a mediocre platformer stuffed with all of the usual platforming elements. In terms of storytelling and presentation, however, Unmasked grabs the imagination and delights the senses easily as much as a feature-length version of the cartoon show would.
  • Pros: Looks and sounds just like the cartoon, Intricate feature-length story, Nice cel-shaded characters
  • Cons: Dull and repetitive platforming, Easy levels, dumb enemies, Scooby's hero costumes underused, Game ends too soon
