Conclusion: Halo 2 was a brilliant game, even though I didn't have live at the time it was great fun to play. The campaign was fantastic, by the time the xbox 360 had come out I must have played through it a dozen or more times, it never got boring. So the sequel should be impossibly good following on from that, but no. Bungie seem to have forgotten about the campaign to focus solely on multi player aspects of the game.
Conclusion: This has to be one of the most overated game in history. The campaign was descent, but add some new stuff. It is all the same: aliens, flood, save earth. The multiplayer has to be one of the biggest disappointments in this game. Again no new stuff. Same weapons and same games. I think honestly, they should bring Master Cheif back to life and finish this series off with a good game. This is the worst of the three. Worst game I have. The forge is the biggest waste of time.
Conclusion: halo 3 is one of the best 360 game they have to offer. the game looks wonderfull and plays well. but this game comes to live with mulitiplayer. nothing is more fun then being able to play with other people. the mulityplayer options are splitscreen and online, both more fun then on your own. you can do the campain together or have a battle. you can have up to 4 players helping you out if you are stuck on a level. and battles online can hold up to 16 players.
Conclusion: I think Halo 3 is quite a good game. I've had it for a month now and I've grown bored of the campaign, as it's easy. But I like the game because of multiplayer gameplay. It's fantastic, especially with a Big Team Battle. I've found a couple of down points about this game though. Firstly, you don't get any XP points or upgrades in your level if you play in a team online. It has to be in a free for all playlist.
Conclusion: Let me start off by saying that the Halo series of games have always been good. When the first Halo was released on original Xbox it totally blew me away with its gameplay and graphical fidelity, and Halo 2 built onto that and expanded the great idea that was Halo. Halo 3 however, to me, simply did not deliver where I had hoped it would. The levels were simply stunning at times but far too linear.
