Summary: I bought my son the film about 2 months ago as he has really got into gangster films and games and he loved it. He decided to look up this game and found out that the xbox original actually works on the xbox 360, he was delighted. He asked me to look up a price for the game and the best price and condition came from Amazon. He says the game was in great condition and loves it, if he's happy, we're happy.
Summary: Following the events from the film, you play as Tony Montanner who starts at the very bottom after loseing everything and has to rebuild his empire through missions, elimitating local gangs and drug dealings. Only thing is like the film there is lots of excessive swearing and violence which not all may like.
Summary: scarfcae is my favourite film of all time so when i got this game expectations were high. im glad to say it totally lives up to the brilliance of the film and im happy that they did a new story for it, rather than rehashing the film missions. the graphics are top notch for an old xbox game and the voices are perfect! i couldnt believe it when i realised that it wasnt pacino doing tonys voice as he sounds so much like him.
Summary: I bought this game as I am quite a big fan of scarface and i must say I am not disappointed. The game progresses at a good pace and is extremely playable. The voice-over is excellent despite Al Pacino not able to do the Tony Montana accent. My only complaint about the game is that Elvie, his wife, does not make an appearance. Maybe I should not say this but at times, the cheats came in useful due to the amount of shooting there is.
Excerpt: As a huge fan of the incredible scarface movie, i was somewhat skeptical about this licensed game. However, it didn't take me long to figure out i wanted to give this game a go, and i was not disappointed. The game starts where the movie finished, you are Tony Montana, however, Tony survived the attack by sosa's men. In the opening you will be plunged into tony's mansion fighting off the bolivians.
Pros: Challenging story, great voice acting, great settings
Summary: For ages I wanted to play this game and I've opted for the Xbox version rathe than the PS2 (I have both) as through experience this is the type of game the Xbox loves - better re-fresh rate and much crisper, cleaner graphics. The story carries on from a 'What could of happened' point at the end of Scarface the film. ( I've heard some reviewers hate/low rating it because of this very reason. Why? its a game! who said they should follow a script?
