Another great game
30 August 2009
Summary: I have played the PC and Macintosh versions of this game and to my surprise found the xBox version has more stages! It starts in the village outside the castle and with the guy who eventually perishes in the castle in all versions ofthe game. Nice to have some back story to the game. These days you can pick up xBox games very cheap, this one was no exception. Lots of inexpensive fun.
Summary: I was very impressed yet again by another id software game as i am with most of the ir titles, the game is made from the quake 3 engine, the geeomatry, physichs and ai are very similar. Infact one of the enemys (which i'll try not to describe to give you a surprise when you play it) is an awful lot like an enemy from the quake series which is like a robotic dog...oops!
Summary: Return to Castle Wolfenstein on Xbox You play a US Ranger on a quest to undercover a secret Nazi plot to use an ancient paranormal power to create a "super-soldier". Nothing new there then....they're always doing that! On the way, you uncover various other Nazi superweapons, which are interwoven, into your quest. This is a FULL review... so read-on... Graphics These can best be described as "realistic".
Summary: Graphically sound and gameplay is excellent. Huge levels to explore and powerful collection of weapons. Ive never played the PC...dont want to...this one met my expectations and if you like Halo you will likely love this...
Summary: Quality gameplay, much better and more advanced than the original. The weapons and special areas are good and there is a wide range of moves, armour and the setup for the levels are excellent. The best shoot em'up since Halo.
Summary: This game is really excellent. The campain is good but can be hard. It really comes into its own on x-box live. It's a must have for all x-box owners. My girlfriend likes it as well as she can blow the s8!t out of people.
Summary: Return to castle wolfenstein is a good game it kept me busy for a few days but that was it, this game is too short and the boses especialy the last are a disapointment maybe with the exception of the Uber-Soldat (Super soldier), right bad points out of the way. The conversion from pc to console has gone very smoothly i have played the pc and xbox versions and the controls have been switched perfectly, there are plenty of weapons and firepower, some decent level design...
Summary: The name "Wolfenstein" should conjure up nostalgia in the minds of gamers, of a time when the potential for firt-person shooters was just beginning to dawn. This game, arriving 8 or-so years later, serves as a retrospective of sorts, borrowing (in some cases shamelessly)from many other classics of the genre and seguing them together in a way that is derivative, but highly entertaining.
Summary: I have been eagerly awaiting RTCW tides of war for a couple of months now and have to say it doesn't disappoint, much. The single player story mode has been expanded from the pc version which is now a couple of years old. It is not the most gripping of plots but the gameplay is anough to compensate. authentic weapons from the second world war help this game to really shine, and the online experience with x-box live is the best to date, second to none.
