Good- but not what I thought

Summary: Being a big fan of World War 2 shooters (Medal of Honor, Call of Duty) Wolfenstein seemed to be a good, accurate game. You start off fighting in North Africa, blasting your way through a nazi held town. Soon after comes a tomb or something where a nazi expedition uncovers an ancient curse, and from there it is all downhill. Zombies with poor AI start apearing everywhere, killing you and the germans. When you get out your commander says simply: "The zombies were..
Summary: The plot of Castle Wolfenstein is like a sampling from the video game buffet - a bit of zombies, some biogenetic engineering, tossed into a WWII Nazi fighting genre. It's so strange, the characters in the game often comment "it's hard to believe that the Nazis would try that." The bizzaro plot does not detract from game play too much. Castle Wolfenstein of course is a first person shooter.
Summary: In reality Heinrich Himmler did believe and follow the occult and he did have great influence over Hitler, so this game takes a fictional detour and embellishes the storyline. The Nazis have discovered how to raise the dead and are engineering even more powerful demons they can use to field an army and crush the Amerikaners. So you're sent in to HALT this and the game sort of patchworks together a storyline to explain how you're to stop 'em.
Summary: This game is probably good when played over the Internet or when linking systems, it would probably be a lot of fun just playing death matches but the developers didn't think to include that little feature. I've only played the single player game so that's all I can fairly rate; I'd probably give it a 2 and a half.
Summary: This game is okay. But don't think it compares to the PC. The single-player game is good. A couple of extra levels that were not on the PC version after that is is pretty identical (a couple of extra bad guys surprised me though - wait and see). The gameplay is pretty good also. For an Xbox game the single player is very polished and worth getting.
Summary: First off, let me say that I do not have XBox Live which I understand is part of this games appeal. The game itself, however, is pretty disappointing. The graphics are very average (it reminded me a lot of medal of honour from my old PS one), the levels are very linear with only a couple of "secret areas" to be found, your opponents show very little AI, simply ducking in and out of doorways at a steady rate until you finally connect.
Summary: This game is one of the best FPS on the Xbox along with Halo and Medal of Honour. Aiming sensitivity can be adjusted which is great and makes aiming as easy as on MoH. Graphics are better than MoH but nothing compared to Halo. This is fast-paced game with plenty of blasting enemies (especially when you get the machine gun).
