Raze’s Hell

The Gamers Temple
1 December 2005
  • Excerpt: Raze’s Hell, to borrow from an old poke at the army, gives you the chance to meet cute and cuddly fuzzy critters with a sunny disposition … and kill them. Yep, here’s your chance to finally take out your frustrations on all of the Kirbies, Yoshis, and Hello Kitties of the world for being so darn cute and sweet. But are they really that sweet anyway?

Raze's Hell Review

VideoGamer.com

  • Excerpt: Are you living the dream? It all rather depends on whose dream it is doesn't it? The Princess of Kewtopia dreams of spreading the joy and 'beauty' of the Kewlett way of life to the less fortunate who surround them. The Kewletts, being cute and fluffy and generally rather lovely, are more than overjoyed to carry out her wish. Of course, whatever can't be made beautiful must be destroyed and so begins the struggle that underpins Raze's Hell.

Raze's Hell

The Armchair Empire

  • Conclusion: creatures. The game features a number of cut scenes which are news broadcasts that are similar to that of American news networks which display war stories of the Kewletts and pay tribute to there “sacrifices” to bring freedom to ugliness around the world. You take control of a character named Raze who would be dubbed as an insurgent or rebel to be politically correct, whose main purpose is to prevent the Kewletts from achieving there goal.

Raze’s Hell Review

IGN Entertainment
27 April 2005
  • Conclusion: There’s a good amount of value packed into Raze’s Hell, especially at its sub twenty dollar price tag. The gameplay is varied and functions without many hitches, but the graphics and audio may bother those who hold these areas of a title in high regard. Give this one a rent at least; you may find that you can satisfy your third-person shooting fix with a little publicized budget title.

Raze’s Hell

  • Conclusion: Budget titles usually are ok in the gameplay department, but it fall apart in the visuals. This is where you can usually tell the difference between budget and full-price titles. Well this for the most part is not the case with Raze’s Hell as it actually is a pretty impressive looking game. The character models aren’t my favorite part of the game, as although they are extremely creative I would have loved to see more detail on all of them.

  • Pros: Urkomische Gegner, Coole Waffen, Bonusspiele
  • Cons: Sehr hoher Schwierigkeitsgrad, Auf Dauer wenig Abwechslung

13 April 2006
