Intellivision Lives! Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: Intellivision Lives! is a great opportunity for older gamers to take a stroll down memory lane and lets younger gamers get to know the roots of video gaming. With limited memory capacity and graphical power, Intellivision games left quite a bit to the player’s imagination, and this may turn off some gamers. However, it’s interesting to see the surprising amount of depth and gameplay found in these early titles.

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: While I was excited to finally play Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, I certainly approached it with cautious optimism. There haven’t exactly been too many good videogames based in Egypt (or movies for that matter…suck it Brendan Fraser), but luckily Eurocom Entertainment and THQ have come through with a very solid action adventure game that will please a multitude of gamers, young and old.

RalliSport Challenge 2

XboxAddict.com
11 December 2005
  • Excerpt: Movies and video games have a lot in common but they also have some glaring differences. One such difference is sequels. With a movie, rarely, if at all, do you ever see a sequel that is vastly superior to the original. But with games, its usually the rule. Such is the case with RalliSport Challenge 2 which comes to us from developer Digital Illusions CE (DICE) and of course, the publisher Microsoft Game Studios.

The Laser
5 June 2005
  • Summary: Microsoft Game Studios goes off-road once again in the highly anticipated Rallisport Challenge 2 on the Xbox. RS2 features vastly improved graphics engine that sets new standards of realism including improved vehicular damage models and stunningly rendered courses. The intense gameplay leaves little room for error that makes for one of the most intense racing titles on any console to date.

  • Conclusion: If you like your rally games with a huge number of testing tracks, vivacious visuals, gregarious gameplay and replays that really rock the house, there are a few titles that can compete on the same level as Rallisport Challenge 2.

The UnderGarden Review

XboxGaming
19 January 2006
  • Conclusion: Taking all the elements of The Undergarden into consideration, the end result is a strange one. It's by no means a classic, and had it been a full priced retail release I wouldn't suggest you give it the time of day. As an Xbox LIVE Arcade title, though, I would definitely consider making space on my hard drive for this peculiar little game.
  • Pros: Interesting and unique art style, Has a genuinely calming effect once you're in the right frame of mind
  • Cons: Simplistic gameplay will not suit those looking for excitement and challenge, Sometimes just feels a bit pointless
