Summary: I purchased this game for my new xbox... and as a 45 year old man, this game is way too hard to play. I am looking to relax and need something simple. Too many commands. I am sure the game is great but it was just too complicated for me to enjoy.
Great Fun to Mess Around With, But Several Small Errors

Summary: Being a big fan of tactical games, Rainbow Six 3 was on my to-get list and just recently I picked up my copy. I had a blast with it and still play it despite the fact that I beat it several times. The weapons were veryy accurate in terms of practicality and functionality; I was very pleased that Ubi Soft actually got the technical information of the actual weapons and implimented them correctly instead of making a messed-up array of weapons like the RCP-90 in Golden Eye...
Summary: I was a huge fan of rainbow six on the PC and was pretty excited about the console version. I expected it to be a bit more 'arcadey', but having also got Ghost Recon, also expected a similar level of realism and strategy. But all in all I have to say I was pretty disappointed. On the plus side, the game is really well presented, with some good missions, great graphics, and the sound is superb. But it's the gameplay where it fell down for me.
Summary: Speaking for single player mode only... While not terrible, I wouldn't say it's great by any means. This is supposed to be a covert action type of game, yet there's nothing covert about it. Most of the time, the terrorists always seem to be camping for you. Then other times, they're incredibly stupid, and will walk right out in front of you after you just got done shooting at them, like they had some sort of short term memory loss.
Summary: First - i do not have xbox live and so this review is strictly a single player account. The game is basically fun, i bought it after i totally fell in love with Ghost Recon but there are some drawbacks. First - your team's AI is pretty terrible. for a "highly trained antiterrorist" unit, they run straight into enemy gunfire far too often. i have found/suspect that in certain areas of levels, certain members of the team are supposed to die.
Summary: The only reason I give this game 3 stars, is because the single player mode sucks, and the online mode gets really repetative. But you get to meet all kinds of different people. So in the end, if you don't have X-Box Live, then don't buy this game.
Summary: Great game, but the package says multiplayer. It does not specify you MUST have X-box live for multiplayer only. I love to play with my husband and don't want to have X-box live for gameplay. I enjoy Halo's split screen multiplayer action. This game is excellent as far as play and graphics.
Summary: With the everpopular Tom Clancy's games getting better and better in previous years, you have to ask yourself "what happened here?" Now i was a huge Tom Clancy fan ever since the very first rainbow six for Nintendo 64, and still to this day won't second guess a Tom Clancy game. However this game falls short in my expectations due to lack of Split-screen multiplayer, and missing single player experiences.
