Summary: Originally entitled "Espionage," Psi Ops is an unique new take on action gaming. The use of psi abilites makes the gamepley very interesting from the start.Being able to grab an enemy who is 50 feet away from you and slam him into a wall, light him on fire, control his mind, or make his brain explode "will" leave you satisfied. While the psi abilities are the main attraction of the game, there are also some exciting weapons and some really tough AI to be found in the...
Summary: I was given this game as a gift, and figured I'd give it a try. I'm not much of a gamer, but I was immediatly caught up the story of Scryer. You start with an impressive cinematic movie explaining how Nick Scryer came to be caught in the situation he's in. You also state with nothing but a paethic pistol but work up through the game through 'training sessions' that show up as flashbacks. You eventually 'remember' your psy abilities, and use them accordingly.
Summary: The title of my review says it all...This game went under the radar for some reason, and many gamers have missed out. The concept of the game is intriguing, the gameplay is smooth, and the controls are easy to learn. An even better aspect of the game is the fact that it has been released for some time, and you are likely to find it at a very reasonable price. Translation: You won't have to shell out a lot of cash and feel like you just wasted money on an overrated game.
Summary: I bought this game because my very trusted gaming magazine (Game Informer) rated this game 9.0/10. It was very cheap for a new game, and it sounded kind of cheezy, but I decided to give it a chance. The graphics in the game are very nice, but the cutscenes are not as polished as some games. However, the game plot kind of pulls you in, making you wonder what's going to happen next.
Summary: Mindgate takes a twist by introducing parapsychological powers for us to play with: telekinesis, pyrokinesis, mind control, remote viewing and aura view. These powers add a new level of gameplay, giving the player different ways which he/she can solve the puzzles and progress the mission. Of course, one can still blast our way through the levels, but the whole experience diminishes using this single-minded (heh, heh...) solution.
