Summary: It's a very hard game but all that you can do is race I wish you could free roam it would be way more fun.And than some cop chases than it would be a hit it would be on wii, playstation 2 and 3, psp, xbox 360,and DS.
Summary: Bizarre Creations takes the style-based racing system from Metropolis Street Racer on Dreamcast and puts into a new game on Xbox with fancier graphics, new courses, and new cars. Almost all of the racing is based around doing cool tricks while you drive. The problem with this is that the courses weren't really designed with the game's steering in mind.
Summary: Fun game, but it gets frustratingly tough later during the play. And winning gold medals is way too difficult, unless you're a ace driver. Cranky AI. For example, the AI cars will follow an ideal path and if you get in their way, you better be ready for a full on crash from them. Or in many tracks the AI cars will whip around a particular bend a particular way and again if you're in their way... kiss the race good-bye.
Excerpt: "Project Gotham racing is a good and nice program to drive. It has great graphics, a good sound and is easy to handle. You got to drive to be the fastest but that’s it I think. I would still prefer the gran turismo 3. This is a game that is difficult has more options. It has more cars and you need more skills to drive. It’s like a real car the turning and the driving in Gotham racing is to easy and doesn't look like you're in a real car. The car doesn’t ...
Summary: Project Gotham Racing is a fun game and has all the cars that you want to have. It is very detailed and worth buying. You drive around London, San Francisco, Tokyo, and New York and try to earn "KUDOS". You get these buy driving with style, not hitting cones, driving fast without hitting the wall, and using the handbrake cleverly. It might get get you hooked the first time you play! Good value for money and a great game.
Summary: I totaly agree with what Matt McDougall said below. "Pros: This game has the best graphics I've ever seen in a racing game. The car models and lighting effects are lovely. The control system works well, especially using the right stick for manual shifting. The car responds more as I'd like it to than in any other race game I've played. I also highly approve of the ability to customize a few features, though I'd have liked to see more.
Summary: It is important to start by saying this is an enjoyable game, the views as you drive through the city streets are incredible and for those of you who know the area that a particular race is set, will be amazed at the detail. Also once you get past the stage of only having a choice of three clanky cars the menu of fast production metal is Ace. HOWEVER the playabilty when you dont have a steering wheel leaves alot to be desired !!
Summary: This was an up front in your face, max hype launch title. Claiming to be a rival to GT3 on the PS2. Just before the launch date they announced PGR2 is in the making. Am I the only one to feel slightly cheated? A rival to GT3 this certainly isn't. We have that pleasure still to come. PLEASE!!!! Yes the graphics are smooth and slick. The menus ooze class. But the gameplay lacks. I find this game rather dull and flat.
Summary: this is a good game but it's by no means spectacular. the graphics are good but don't by any means show off what the Xbox can do. the cars handle well though you have to keep telling yourself you're driving a ferrari not a top of the range dyson. its a vast improvement on metropolis street racer, but the kudos system is still irritating. e.g.
Excerpt: "Project Gotham Racing was another game available at release. I have mixed feelings about this game. It looks extremely good, with the street scenes and backgrounds being extremely detailed and relatively authentic. The range of cars available is not large, but they do look gorgeous whatever colour you decide they are going to be. Again, authenticity is the key and the perfectly rendered Boxster is very impressive, even down to the damage that you ...
