Great till the end

Summary: Game was amazing till I found out it had a bug which shows up after doing days of work and you want to fight the last boss. Makes me wish I never started it in the first place. I heard it may only happen with games purchased from companies who got cheap versions from overseas. Maybe don't buy it over the internet like I did, from here.
Summary: I've been a fan of this franchise since the original game came out. SANDS OF TIME was one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time. I've played it through several times and it never gets old. For this game, I've finished maybe 30% of the game by my estimates and I don't know if I'll continue. The developers put all their efforts into making combat more viloent and that's about it.
Summary: Let's first be clear: I own the first Prince of Persia game and love it. I could not put the controller down with that one. Warrior Within is another story altogether. It is easily the most irritating game I've ever played. The graphics and sound are fantastic, some of the best that I've seen and heard. But that's where the good things end.
Summary: so....i was really looking forward to this game.....man....what a let down. graphics: not nearly as majestic and awe inspiring as the last story: eh....decent concept, fun idea....however, over the top. character: this is the biggest issue for me, although i am one of the few who loved the prince's voice work in SoT, they totally switched it now...so the american from persia? really? who swears? ok? no not really a good idea..

Summary: This review is a little long winded, I apologize, but I feel the need to rant a little. Most reviews here are pretty positive, everyone can have their own opinion, of course, but consider this a warning if you are thinking about buying this game: not everyone will enjoy Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, and some people may even hate it. I really, really wanted to like this game.
Summary: I just got finished playing the demo of this game and I have to say that it feels like the developers are pandering to the 13 year old grundge beat 'em up gamers out there. What was once a charming and enthralling experience is now a Mountain Dew commercial. Worst of all- there's far more fighting- and rediculously hard bosses- so you can just forget about completing this one until the cheats come out. Why do developers do things like this?
Summary: These opinions are strictly based on the demo. Ubi's version of Prince of Persia came as a surprise last year, because this franchise had so many bad sequels that nobody really thought it still has a future. But, Ubi managed to create an excellent game, with a distinct look and excellent controls and level design.
Summary: The original Sands of Time was one of those great games that few people ever played. Excellent art direction, appealing characters and a mostly nice soundtrack came together to power an excellent platform adventure game. The combat was rather poor, but grit your teeth and play through it to get to the next platform section. A fairy sale wonder that could have come straight out of a Sinbad movie.
