Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (Xbox)
1 March 2006
Excerpt: The beginning level is wonderfully scripted and serves as your tutorial, it is here you are familiarized with the control scheme and acrobatic maneuvers the Prince can perform. From running up walls, to running along them, the Prince's acrobatic arsenal is simply amazing, and wonderfully animated.
Excerpt: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time takes place in a mystical Middle Eastern setting, all bathed in soft, warm light and looking like something straight out of a storybook. You play as a young prince who possesses exceptional athletic and acrobatic skill.
Excerpt: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time can be recommended wholeheartedly. It looks fantastic and features responsive controls, some original play mechanics, a good story, and plenty of thrilling adventure.
Excerpt: We must have uttered this single word to ourselves on 100 different occasions during the time we spent playing through Ubi Soft's masterful new action-adventure, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Prince of persia: the sand of time an awesome game
23 December 2005
Excerpt: Well where can i begin? right, after playing the game at first, it was alright, got to the first save point and kept playing till i got stuck on a bit where you had to keep jumping from wall to wall.
Pros: bit addictive once you get the hang of it
Cons: no 2 player mode, plus its hard to get the hang of it at first
Excerpt: Great game to play and although there is no two player mode it has a good story to it so its pretty interesting for people who are watching you play it. You play a guy who has been given the chance to go back in time and save the world as he knows it.
Excerpt: There are many games that claim to have a unique fighting style or technique but Prince of Persia is the only one that I have played where you can kill in so many ways with so many action packed moves.
Pros: In depth plot with a different twist that racks your brain at every corner .
Summary: I just finished The Sands of Time this afternoon. It is a brilliant game, not too repetitive and full of new challenges. The thing I liked particularly about it, was that I felt that I was making good progress throughout.
Summary: This is a quality game. A one run through and your done but it'll be one heck of a ride. With interesting twists and love scenes Prince of Persia is a brilliant game also complemented by realistic physics and graphics and excellent acrobatics and fighting systems.
