Summary: This game is farily good, but has some warts. I mean, why are there so many doors that are missing levers? And why are the levers always in bushes? I mean, is Ubisoft trying to make me write a bad review? But, the beasts you encounter as Jack Driscoll are purely imaginative. But, after awhile, the creatures start to repeat. But, all the problems melt away when you play as the ginormus ape himself. There, you can kill giant t-rexs and bats.
Summary: that akadude who left a bad review just mad cause he sucks. What he is right is do not waste your money buying it but rent it instead. You can beat it in an long sitting and you constantly kill the same things the hole game. More weapons should have been added into the game and although fun you constantly throw spears and light bushes on fire.
Summary: Wow what a beautiful game. I am very impressed by the graphics on this one. But what about the gameplay. It is very unique. Most of the game you are a human running around in first person shooter mode. This is pretty cool. Sometimes you will have to look around in the environment to find things to use. An example would be finding a spearlike object to hurl at a t-rex. THis sounds like it would be tough, but it really isn't.
Great-but short (got it on Christamas, finished boxing day)

Summary: The gameplay was great and i loved many of the problem-solving levels in which you had to use fire bones levers insects guns and pretty much everything the map has to offer in order to kill dinosaurs get through thorn and protect your mates. Playing as king kong is draw-brakeingly fun with easy melee attacks in very difficult situations (like killing a t-rex with your your bare hands while natives fire flaming spears at you).Killing dinosaurs and giant bugs alike with...
Summary: There are very few games based on films that are good. Goldeneye, Spiderman 2, and The Chronicles Of Riddick being examples. Kong joins these games because it isn't the usual fps or 3rd person affair. As 'Jack' in the first person mode, you can only have one gun, you do not find ammo littering the area, and when you find ammo it doesnt stock up, you have to change guns and ammo.
Summary: A very entertaining, if somewhat short ride. This is the first game I've played to truly capture a "Cinematic Experience". From the first moment your ship wrecked on the island your whisked aboard what turns out to be a top class gaming adventure. Although it is totally linear, you are ripped along at such a pace that you tend not to notice.
Summary: I picked this up thinking here we go another movie tie-in relying on the name of the film to sell it!poor graphics, poor gameplay, just another waste of my hard earned money. But I have to say I was pleasently suprised, for the main part of the game you play Jack Driscoll, exploring the island with your team of movie makers in a first person perspective with limited weapons and ammo often having to use spears from the niceley created environment to progress further in the...
