Summary: i remember playing the earlier game on the sega saturn,i found it ok and pretty fun to play.but the xbox version seems to be much harder than what i remember it to be;or it could be simply because i havent played it for a long time. controls are pretty much the same. i like how youre able to switch between the 3 modes,it allows for more flexibility depending on your current situation.
Summary: There is not too much of a story behind Panzer Dragoon Orta for the XBox. There is an introduction which sets up the game but it's still not that clear what the story actually is. You start off in a tower with a girl named Orta, who has been locked up because of an empire that is unsure and afraid of her powers that could destroy them. When they were coming to kill Orta off, a mysterious dragon comes and rescues Orta, and the game starts off. And that's about it...
Summary: One of the best rail shooters I have played, or up to level 3 anyway. If you are planning to buy this for the Xbox360, then the PAL version of the game will crash after level 3. No fix has been released by Microsoft even though they state this game as backward compatible with Xbox360. This problem has been noted on several internet forums so it is not an isolated case.
Summary: The legacy of Sega's last ever console continues on Microsoft's little baby, the Xbox. An old game now, this little gem can probably be picked up in your local Gamestation for under a tenner. The structure of the game is unashamedly old school, the 'on-rails' shooter brought up to date in full 3D glory ... flying through level by level until you reach the 'uberboss' at the end of each stage. The game I could liken this most to is another Sega oldie, Afterburner II.
Summary: I'll admit I don't know anything about the Panzer Dragoon series... I'll also admit I only bought this game cause it was cheap. I'll also admit, I was really impressed. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay enjoyable, and a plot which is a cut above most. Through both the game and the bonus material, its incredably easy to get immersed into the Panzer Dragoon world. What impressed me the most was that its rare you realise it is a rail shooter.
Summary: I litteraly bought an XBOX last year to play this one game as I was a big fan of the series on the Sega Saturn... Yeah the graphics are great and these loads to see after you finished the game but to be fair if you never played the original games you wont have a clue what's going on. I was a bit dissapointed that it didnt follow in the same vein as Panzer Dragoon Saga (see I told you wouldnt know what Im on about) but the game stays true to its 32Bit roots..
Summary: Nice graphics, and a good stress buster after a hard days work. Alot of fun but hasnt got the story of HALO or the longevity of Splinter Cell. The story is a bit weak - I didn't understand it in fact!
