Summary: It's not often that one can come across a game like Operation Flashpoint: Elite. It's one of those games that is so frustrating you can't put it down. It is a game grounded in sheer realism and that is evident from the get go. There are no health bars, but your character shows damage in specific locations.
Summary: Well i have played all the Tom Clancy games from the first rainbow six and I still love playing them, but this game is different, I have played the game all the way through on the American side and the Local side, and both are great, it was hard to get out of the habit of doing the same thing everytime you got killed, if it did not work the first time try something different !
Summary: Ok, many people have played the PC version (which I love) and the XBox conversion is a pretty good effort. The control system using the XBox controller is never going to be as fluid as a mouse and keyboard, but you get used to it - just give it time and practise. Many peolple who like FPS shooters complain that this is boring, crap etc but they miss the point. OFP never was like other arcade-ish FPS rehashed clones of each other.
Summary: I had few hours on this and its well thought out. The controls feel good in the sense that they are meant to be that way... everything becomes second nature. The game itself is massive and you can easily be led of course just by wanting to see the surrounding areas, but the action is where it all lies.. a solid and realistic military game. Maybe the graphics are a little off what we might expect but the game draws you in and keeps you busy. And on xbox live...please!!!
