Video Game talk
25 April 2005
  • Excerpt: If you thought your high school was a bad place to spend your days, at least you were never stuck overnight at Leafmore. You see, theres something going on after hours and it doesnt involve teachers getting freaky in the lounge. Theres an evil being unleashed upon the school and soon students become missing.

Obscure

Thunderbolt Games
13 April 2005
  • Excerpt: Obscure stars a group of high school students that will instantly remind you of the cast of horror movies like “Scream” and “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” There’s even a character that looks exactly like Josh Hartnett, star of “The Faculty”; another teen horror romp. After the disappearance a classmate, a ragtag group of friends decide to band together find him/save the day. After school, they all meet up in a classroom when they suddenly find themselves locked in!

  • Conclusion: Lowdown Obscure is an interesting game with several neat features, most notably it's co-op story mode. Sure, the subject matter has been done before, but Obscure manages to keep it fresh enough for most gamers to enjoy. I would definitely look into Obscure if you are a fan of teen horror movies, or suspenseful horror games.

Obscure Xbox Review

DarkZero
27 October 2004
  • Conclusion: An enjoyable if unspectacular new entry to the Survival Horror genre. If you can play it with a friend and enjoy your SH games, then by all means pick it up at its reduced release price; if you will play it alone, then be warned; you will most likely not get your moneys worth out of the title.

In sottofondo i Sum 41. Ci troviamo di fronte all'ennesimo serial adolescenziale ambientato in una scuola?

Obscure
