Summary: This is an older game, but still holds up well. Lots of speed and action. Well balanced. Great customization and unlockable features (in particular, I enjoy the multitude of "heads" you can unlock for your players). I wish there were better tracking of statistics, but this is a game that my whole family enjoys. Recommended!
Summary: The type of game where you can get together with a couple of friends and play for 6 straight hours without even realizing the time. Nice combination of action and strategy. Excellent control; easy to just pick up, yet with enough variables to keep it interesting. Shoot, Pass, Fake, Spin, Stick Check, Check, Block, Turbo, etc... On ice spacing is important. Shooting and passing require quick decisions and are skills to develop. Checking is fantastic!
Summary: This game can be lots of fun, but you can get tired of it easily. You can do championship, where you have to choose a team and try and beat all the other teams. You can also do something where you can be playing against a friend. You can get into a fight with other players and fight them.
Summary: Allright this game is pretty cool but if your looking for a real hockey game this is not for you. Unrealistic and fake gameplay Hitz does not deliver even the slightest bit of realisim. But, aside from that fact, it is a very fun fast pace game. If you play alone then the game is really not that fun, but with two or more people it is a riote(check my spelling on that!). Creating a team is a little of a pain.
Summary: If your one of the people who hate the rules of hockey like offsides and 2 line passing then this games for you. It is probably 1 of the greatest games i played all year. Instead of those wimpy checks in those other nhl games, you will get hit hard. Also in the game you can check your opponent into the glass in which the glass breaks if u hit him hard enough. You can create your own team with your friends. There are also special teams and stadiums too.
Summary: Quite simply, this is one of the best games I've ever encountered in my twenty-plus years of gaming. I've never liked sports games before, but from the moment I started this game I was hooked. I've always loved hocky, but found that most games were either too dull, too complicated or just didn't have the graphics that make this game light up the way it does on the Game Cube. If you don't own this game, buy it!
