  • Conclusion: EA In the end, NFL Head Coach is a decent game but it certainly isn’t going to appeal to everyone. It all really boils down to how much control you want to have in your games. If you don’t mind sitting back and watching the AI play football for you, and you also are a fan of the deeper micro-management aspects of simulations or RPGs, then NFL Head Coach will be right up your alley.

  • Excerpt: Football sims have been around for quite some time, but they’ve always been for football fans with a strong affection for number crunching. With interfaces that are essentially souped-up spreadsheets, these games delivered hands-on control of a pro football franchise but did so at the cost of all of the on-field action that makes the sport so much fun to watch. NFL Head Coach changes all of that.
