Summary: NFL 2K3 is much better than Madden in all major categories: graphics, gameplay, etc. My only complaint with Sega's football games is the ability to see your opponent's play calling. At least in Madden your opponent knows you could be running one of three plays that appear on the screen. Still, a minor gripe considering all the ways in which this game is superior to Madden.
Summary: I'm not a big football buff or video-game football buff. But we wanted a game we could play with friends and could play online. This was just the ticket. It's a great football game for those who might want to play football, but who don't know all the plays and formations. In fact, it can keep me entertained alone for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. With friends or online it is even better.
Summary: I have, up until 2 months ago, never liked football games. So many plays, confusing, smart CPU, etc. I bought my xbox 2 months ago. I thought I should give football another try. I have played Madden 2003, NFL Blitz 2003, NFL Fever 2003, NFL Gameday 2003 and of course, Sega NFL 2K3. I thought Blitz was just plain dumb. Gameday looks like a early 90's game, and boring.
If Madden 2003 weren't the best, you would buy this!

Summary: Graphics - Incredible Sound - Awesome Announcers - not too annoying. I have the PC version of Madden 2003. NFL 2k3 rivals the graphics on that game. The sound on NFL 2k3is far better. The motion could be improved on NFL 2k3. Occasionally the characters appear to be ice skating across the turf. Further, when on defense, you can run straight through your teammates. This is just weird. This is the primary reason I could not give this game a 5.
Summary: This game is nothing like Madden from EA sports. It is much, much more realistic than this years madden. These are some of the things I noticed in NFL 2K3 that I never saw in Madden. Unlike in Madden, blindly throwing the ball 20 yards down field results in many interceptions, cornerbacks and linebackers bump and check recievers to slow down routes, and good veteran offensive tackles will do anything to protect the qb, including holding and literally rolling into the...
Summary: You can be the most experience video football player... and this game is going to kick your butt right out of the block. It is very difficult on all settings. So be prepared for some frustrating moments as you get used to this new version of the game. The graphics are amazing, and the audio commentary is improved. There are a few minor non-gameplay issues. Some of the stadiums are not completely matching their real life counterparts.
Summary: I got this game the other day and was dissapointed, although I gotta say, I'm one of those Madden Fans, so I may be a little bias. I think that this game is good, but unlike madden, I wasen't craving to play the game all night or anything, I mean, the graphics are the best on any football game to date, but the gameplay seemes to slow for me and just simply not fun. However, the replays, cut-scenes, and tackles are really cool to watch...much better than madden.
