Summary: This product i remember to be one of the best games i have played since my early gaming days. It brings with it a great sense of driving and skill rather then previous Need For Speed games. Please be advised this original Xbox game WILL NOT be able to play on an Xbox 360, i tested it even with a Live account active and there is no possible way.
Summary: First up, the reason I only give this game 4 out of five overall is really just a personal gripe: sometimes the cops seem to catch me even though I am still (theoretically) able to drive away...this may have to do with the fact that I always play car games with the 'in-car' view..my son plays watching the car from outside and doesn't seem to have this problem...heigh-ho..
Summary: The main thing you want to know is this better than NFS:Underground 2, yes...only just! The best new feature is the introduction of the police chase. This greatly adds to the fun element as no 2 pursuits are the same, you can free roam anywhere during a chase! You get to smash your way through the scenery as well to cause a pile up behind you as you get away. Once out of sight you go into a cool down mode once the bar fills up you have evaded capture.
Summary: The game graphics are just as good as the last NFS the only thing that i have found that is not that good is the controll setup when you are drag racing as it is a bit hard to use the nitrous and shift gear at the same time other then that i would recommend this game to anyone who likes racing games.
Summary: First off, let me say that this game is better than Underground 2, which in itself was a huge step up from Underground, but, alas! It still has the steaming pile of horse manure that is the drag (quite literally) racing mode. The rest of the game is miles above this. They may as well have put in a dice rolling option where you have to score double six to win. It really is that much of a pain.
