Summary: It's a shame that this franchise was killed off due to not selling as well as the other two big basketball sports titles. Inside Drive I think manages to find a perfect spot between arcade and realism, it leans more towards the realism side and is a lot easier to pick up and play for newbies. This title won't work on an Xbox 360 (not on the compatibility list as yet) so avoid if you don't have your Xbox1 hooked up.
Summary: XSN (Microsoft's sports game label, which has also done the Top Spin and Links games for X-Box) excel in making a sport realistic, but fast-paced with an arcadey and accessible feel. NBA Inside Drive 2004 is no exception to the rule. The sound is the major bonus here and the first thing to hit you, with some excellent (albeit repetitive at times) commentary. The banter between the 2 commentators is often very funny and adds to the atmosphere.
Summary: I have been a big fan of basketball titles evers ince my 1st on my Amiga(forgotten the name). This is my favorite so far. Big game plays with big name stars. The season option is good solid giving you the options for changing your game plays depending on the team that you are facing. When your players are hot they are hot and you have better cahnce fo hitting the hoop. But unlike other games it not an automatic right for scoring.
Summary: The new NBA inside drive is a new and refreshing basketball game which in my opinion is the best basketball game on the market. The gameplay is pretty good and very realistic, the graphics are exceptional but the sound is atrocious. A lot of the time all that can be heard is rude language shouted from the crowd which i would not like to repeat in front of my children.
Summary: It's been a while since I have bought a basketball game and presented with new teams and new players I feel like its a long time since Rodman and Jordan ruled the courts with the Bulls. As with all American sports games unless you are a fan and have access to Channel 5 many of the names will be lost on you and so you tend to have to rely on the handy icons to let you know instantly how good a player is and what his strenghts are but once you get past any inherent...
