  • Summary: This game was way too good for 2005. Wish it would come back soon. Definitely better than any baseball game out now.

  • Summary: The score is based on the year it came out in which is 2005. MVP Baseball 2005 is still a blast to play in 2011. There are a lot of options for your Dynasty and Owner modes. Dynasty Mode you can play a ridiculous 120 seaons. Owner Mode for 30. Basically Owner Mode is an expanded Dynasty Mode when it comes to features. You can build your own stadium.

MVP Baseball 2005 Reader Review - 9.0

  • Conclusion: MVP has added so many new options to the gameplay. Now there is an Owner Mode where you can build your own ballpark and make so many front office decisions you couldn't make in the previous games. Also new is Xbox Live. While this is a solid addition, it's really only useful for the roster updates. Of course, the sounds are perfect. You can almost tell a good hit from a bad one just by the sound it makes. The graphics are also good.

MVP Baseball 2005 Reader Review - 9.1

  • Conclusion: I must say EA rules, MVP is another great sports title, and MVP 2005 is no exception. I bought this game and in a week I played 47 games, none of them simulated. I hope that gives an idea of how great the gameplay is and how addicting in general the game is. Presentation is weak, the announcers get annoying after a while. The Owner Mode is a step up from last year, but it could use a lot of work. Managing money is very difficult.

  • Conclusion: Wow is the first thing that pops into my mind when I first played this game. And, after all the hours I have played EA Sport's MVP Baseball 2005, wow is right. Not only is it an accurate representation of America's pastime, but its fun. There is a variety of gamemodes to choose from, from Exhibition, to Franchise, to Spring Training (training).
