Conclusion: I was never a big Tony Hawk Fan untill I picked up Project8. The previous titles I had played in the series seemed like they were geared towards a much younger audience. To many wacky characters and silly quest goals, nothing seemed to capture that real skating feel like the original had. One thing I like about these games is that the control scheme hasnt changed since day one, so picking this up again was like riding a bike, rail gap skills still intact.
Conclusion: Great game with great graphics. Nail the trick mode is one of the biggest and best things to come to this franchise, but the whole team dropped the ball by not alowing the players to use the perfect balance cheats just because of achivements. Saint's row found it's way around this problem. If i remember right the Tony Hawk games were about having fun and the lack of these cheats is just frustrating. Besides how many people really care about the achivements?
Conclusion: Overall a great experience for the first year. A little disappointed with the lack of stadiums and school spirit in the stands. I am looking forward to next year when they add more stadiums and maybe some better audio for the stands. The uniforms look great and I love the aluminum bat. The school spirit needs to be added for next year. I have witnessed personally the atmosphere of college baseball when I go to UCF, FSU, and Miami home games.
