Summary: If I were to describe this game in one word, it would be "fast"! As well as the excellent handling, graphics etc, this game makes you really feel like you're hurtling round Suzuka or wherever it is. Motorbike racing is boring to watch on TV but amazing to play in this game. Playing it in the first-person view is pretty scary!
Summary: What a fantastic game. The smoothest clean graphics I have ever seen on a bike racer on any platform, ultra high speed action all the way and a choice of modes that is bound to suit everyone who ever fancied their chances on the race circuits of cyber space, be they sim fan or just simple arcade racer folk.
Summary: A truely awesome game! The graphics are very smooth with no judder or faults. The high speed distortion is great and gives you a real feeling of travelling at speed. Although difficult to start with the handling of the bike is exceptional and is very rewarding as you learn to control it through the corners.
Summary: Quite simply the best, most realistic bike racing game that's EVER hit the stores. The graphics are quite simply stunning - at 270kph (170mph) everything flashing past you starts to blur and the heat haze on the Valencia circuit is a real nice touch too - not to mention the realistic way the riders hang off the bikes and how your viewpoint tilts as you lean the bike over as well!
Summary: Moto GP is simply the best racer on the Xbox at the moment. Based loosely round the PS2 version it looks so much better. When first playing it I had a few problems with the controlls however the training mode soon sorted that out, getting used to both a front and rear brake will take practice. 4 different modes are available with the championship and arcade offering unlimited repeat value.
Summary: The xbox must now be the console of choice for any racing games fan. After PGR and Rallisport Challenge, This latest bike racer oozes class and is breathtaking to behold - A blistering frame rate throughout (even with 19 other bikes on the grid) and all the lense flare and bump mapping you can shake a stick at: even the rain drops have reflections in them !
Summary: Namco have received and official license for MotoGP which allows you to take control of your favourite 500cc riders such as Mick Doohan, Max Biaggi and Jenny Roberts among others and race on several of the real racing tracks. MotoGP includes all the typical racing modes such as arcade, season and time trials but also allows you to select the way the bikes handle.
Summary: I bought MotoGP on Friday after playing a demo version to death and it's the best pure racing game on the X box right now. The controls are superb and the bike's handle like a dream and the sense of speed is excellent especially when the backgrounds blur! Whooosh! The game makes fantastic use of the Xbox hardware with bump mapping, realistic lighting, detailed textures and anti-aliasing (no jaggies here!). The rain effects are amazing and have to be seen, to be believed.
Summary: Before I get into explaining why this game is so good, I feel I should settle a common misunderstanding. This is NOT the same game as MotoGP on the playstation2. It is made by a completely different company. It just happens to have a very similar name and the official MotoGP license. This game is infinitely better than Namco's MotoGP on the Playstation2, and this is why... Firstly, the graphics are superb!
Summary: This is simply a wonderful game. Everything about screams attention to detail, with slick presentation in every department. The graphics are pin sharp and as close to the real thing as you will find, even down to dirt on the tyres. The game play is easy to get into and presents a real challenge on higher difficulty levels. The control system is simple and conveys a real feeling of the difficulty of racing a bike, needing rythm and precision.
