Summary: First of all this game has a great amount of challenge and new modes never discovered in mortal combat. The last challenger in arcade is the most challenging, you have to collect energy to do more damage. (I forgot to say spoiler...). Another one of my favorites is puzzle combat, with the game play of puzzle fighter turbo! Konquest is the other mode, quite boring. All you do is train and think but its what makes all of the great unlockables come to the game.
Summary: Mortal Kombat: Deception is definitely my favorite Mortal Kombat game! It fixes all the problems from its predecessor, and then adds more. That it what a good sequel should do. Anyway, the game has a huge mix of characters, from new (Hotaru, Ashrah, Dairou, Havik), nostalgic (Noob-Smoke, Sindel, Nightwolf, Tanya) to the characters you see in almost every game (Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Liu Kang). This is a good variety.
Conclusion: had some bad press i see. true the game is hard to get into, the special moves are tricky - but if you stick to one character and practice long enough the game is very rewarding. the blood and guts are comical and the fatalities a great touch - percevere i say!
Conclusion: this would be good if you could master the combo's which I couldn't and even if I couyld how are you meant to input them that quickly it's great that its now online but its repetitive the single player is crap and they guys online must have of had months of practising to get that good (months wasted on a video game like this) I do like beat em ups but this ones not one of them
Summary: i love mk thou after deadly all i didnt think it cud have got better WRONG this games as meaty as mk1 or 2 and will keep u button bashing as much as mk trilogy hence y i wanted it for my 360 great service too btw!!!
Excerpt: "...making their mark in the Mortal Kombat universe. In a welcome turn, the goody-two-shoes Lui Kang returns from the dead as a rotting-fleshy zombie, while Noob Saibot and Smoke make a welcome return as insidious character players have longed to control. While being able to get down and dirty with button-bashing greatness in Kombat, two extra games allow for variety within the mix and brings a giggle to your sadistic eye: Chess Kombat allows you to ...
Pros: Great fighting moves, more fatalities, more arena dangers, quirky mini - games, RPG mode, online
Cons: Bad voice - acting, under - developed RPG mode
