Spider-Man: Friend or Foe Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: “Light” is a good label for Spider-Man: Friend or Foe . The gameplay is somewhat one dimensional and linear, though there’ll surely be players who’ll want to take it on for the Gamerscore potential, and others who’ll want a basic challenge or who are playing with children. It doesn’t cut through new territory or introduce any major gameplay concepts.

Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 Review

IGN Entertainment
1 March 2010
  • Conclusion: It’s a bit easier to get away with previous-gen sound on next-gen systems. Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 is a perfect example of this, as most of what you’ll hear sounds fresh. The call from the announcer’s box is about as good as you’ll find in a sports game, and the crowd chants, cheers, and jeers are entertaining to say the least.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon Review (Xbox)

About.com
16 November 2008
  • Conclusion: Midway Overall, Mortal Kombat Armageddon is huge game that plays a little better than previous installments, but it isn’t really the definitive entry in the series that fans might have been hoping for. Despite any deficiencies in the gameplay, mode selection, or additional content, Armageddon does have a couple of positive things going for it. It packs 60+ characters, mostly beloved veterans that MK fans will love seeing again, and the MSRP is only $40.

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (Xbox) Review

411mania.com
11 March 2008
  • Summary: Whether you've been playing MK since the first arcade game or have only recently started, this new edition definitely deserves a shot. A huge roster, create a character mode, new Konquest mode and a silly little race car mini game is without a doubt "bang for your buck". The new fatality system is a breath of fresh air and the combat it still pretty solid. A good recommendation!

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

Game Over Online
13 November 2006
  • Excerpt: Mortal Kombat: Armageddon marks the last installment of the series for current gen (and Wii) hardware. As a result, MK fans and Midway alike hoped this would be the end-all-be-all for the franchise. While it doesn't quite reach that standard, it does come close. It also fumbles in ways that feel like a copout given that expectation.
