Summary: As a devotee of Allied Assault and Spearhead on the PC, I bought this in the blithe expectation that XBox processing power coupled with a 'Medal of Honour' rendering of Pacific carnage would make for a spiffing game. Unfortunately, the game palls by comparison with its forebears, and is a derisory effort compared with the likes of 'Halo 2'. When I tried to trade this in at a local 'Game Station', I was offered a couple of quid and some sympathy.
Summary: Medal of Honor rising sun is a FPS first person shooter and it is average. You are some army guy and you go round and kill japanese. You can gt on gun emplacements and stuff. The graphics are pretty average ok worse than avrage and the multiplayer is OK and way better than the single player. Put it this way you should buy halo or something else if you want a really good one but if you want cheap and below average this is the one.
Summary: like in medal of honour front line, MOH: rising sun has an awesome first level, which is all action, with ships blowing up, to planes zooming over head. but after that the graphics arent that good and the gameplay is uninspired.
Summary: Features 20 WEAPONS MULTIPLAYER (a dissapointment). CO UP (this is a dissopointment because you warp back to your other player when you go 15 metres away). Medal of Honour Rising Sun isn't worth your hard earned cash. The bit where you ride an elethant with a machine gun on it's back isn't even good. This is worth a rent only, (I rented it). You might as well buy the xbox classics Frontline for £20. This new game is Frontline all over again with just new levals.
Summary: How excited was I about the next MoH game being released on Xbox in time for Christmas; lots of adverts on the media showing our hero shooting down aircraft at Pearl Harbour; it couldn't get much better could it? Well, I'm sad to say the answer is a big YES it could have been SO much better! The first missions whet your appetite as you do get to help ward off the invasion of Pearl Harbour.
Summary: Being converted from a long time Ps2 owner, i got my spanking new Xbox home and couldn't wait to see what it could do. Unfortunately the game that had come free with it was Medal of Honour: Rising Sun. At the time of purchase i didn't think much about this as i had played Frontline on the Ps2 and thought that it was a pretty decent game. But it is the sad case that Rising Sun has terminal, poor sequal disease.
Summary: I only wish I'd read the reviews before I went out on boxing day and spent £40.00 quid on this game. I've never played anything so completely boring in my life before. After the shooting of planes form the boat there is nothin impressive about this game at all. The graphics are anything but slick, I started out playing FPS with Duke Nukem on the PC and it had more to offer then than MOH Rising Sun has today.
Summary: well i got medal of honor for christmas along with a new xbox console and i played the game at first i thought it was visually amazing as the first level places you in the action on a ship in pearl harbor with the japs attacking you as you look around the enviroment you are drawn in to its gloriosity. but... as you get more in the game all the gameplay of medal of honor jus begins to put you off that little bit.
