  • Summary: although the graphics are'nt up to todays spec, still a great game. but the save mode could be better as you can only save once you complete each mission.

Nostalgic Gaming

  • Summary: i bought this recently as I remember playing it on the PS2 when it first came out. So I decided to pick it up again, this time for the xbox, and relive the memories. The story line is great, there is no doubt about that. To be fair the graphics are actually quite good and the gameplay enjoyable. It is clear how much gaming has advanced itself over the years This game has 6 levels, with each level having about 4 sublevels.

One of the best MoH games ever!

  • Summary: One of the best MoH games ever! Just received it today in the post and oh boy am I pleased about it. It turned up in mint condition for the bargain price I paid at 73p + £2.03 P&P. I ordered it from zoverstocks used, and more or less turned up new. The game plays perfectly no freezing or anything. This game brings back all the childhood memories. I ordered it on a Tuesday and turned up on a Saturday so about four days delivery but it was worth the wait.

  • Summary: I bought this game thinking that it would be as good as rising sun but this game is sooo unrealistic for example I have a sniper rifle, I headshot a badguy I think ok he's dead annoyingly he stands up !!! The people look like paper, the only detailed part of the game is the weapons.

Rise and Fall of Medal of Honor

  • Summary: I remember when there was a certain amount of pride in the voice of anyone who mentioned Medal of Honor. The first game from the PS1 was excellent, and the PC version (Medal of Honor Allied Assualt) was an instant classic, mixing excellent level design, great gameplay and good graphics. Its obvious that alot of the design team have moved on since then. While Frontline has its moments of genius, it doesn't deliver on the promises of previous games.

Its a great war game. If you are male you will love it.

  • Summary: This is now quite an old game, and there are a few promising first person WW2 and Vietnam games on the horizon, but you really shouldn't miss this absolute classic. Putting the beach level to one side, there many outstanding levels to be played in this game. The graphics arn't brilliant and the sound is not the best, but when you are fighting through the streets of Holland you will agree that it is simply fantastic gaming.

Guilty Pleasures

  • Summary: I love this type of game. But I know I shouldn't. The first time Iplayed Medal of Honor was on the old Playstation and the great parts ofthat game have been carried straight through to this version for the Xbox. The sound is still the stand out reason for playing Medal of Honor, asbullets, shrapnel and God knows what else fly all around you, you'recompletely immersed in a bygone era. And that's the reason I know I shouldn't love this game.

Medal of Honor: Frontline - Buy it or not?

"alasdair_m", amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: This game is set during World War 11 and, although the graphics aren't brilliant, the game is reasonably good and the storyline is fine. Personally, I would leave this game and buy the newer one but if you don't mind heads that look like paper then this game might be your kind of game. The only problem is that you can get lost easily in the levels and take hours to complete a single mission.
