MechAssault Reader Review - 9.7

Ultimate Lifefo, IGN Entertainment
8 July 2004
  • Conclusion: Mechassault is the first 'Mech game on the Xbox. The Mechwarrior series has always been about insane action and intelligent stradegy, and Mechassault lives up to that legacy. The graphics have to be seen to be believed, and watching it on HDTV will blow you away. The sounds are highly realistic, with professional voice acting. You have a choice of nearly twenty fighting machines, designed to destroy whatever's in your path.

Mr. G. Marchant, amazon.co.uk
20 June 2009
  • Summary: an easy game to play, with good graphics, as you work your way around the levels, it does get a little harder. A good blow up game, you just go round blowing things up, the first level is just the basic getting used to the joy pad, with some help on what does what and where, you really don't need to look at the manual all the help is on screen, its a great game for kids and adults, who are learning the console or just want an quick easy game to kill time, or even to...

Amazing Gameplay

"tdbulldog", amazon.co.uk
29 July 2004
  • Summary: Mech Assault was one of the first XBOX Live titles to appear on the shelves that offered a superb if not a little to quick to complete offline game scenerio and then with LIVE capabilities thrown in I have been an XBOX Live user for like forever in the UK and this game still gets the pulse racing, its quick arcade appeal is superb, the game modes just as good and nothing better than a rumble in a huge whopping Mech.
