Conclusion: Excellent game. This series is among the best in 3rd person shooters. Max Payne 1 was awesome with it’s story line, graphics, and bullet time integration. Max Payne 2 follows is the same type of quality but with better graphics and game play. Only thing I have against it is that it's not 720p. I'm quite sure the XBOX could handle this game at that res with good framerate.
Summary: Max Payne 2 is the kind of satisfying, brain-free blasting action that console gaming was invented for. It's a rain-soaked, noir-styled thriller that follows the titular Payne through yet another life-or-death, intrigue-filled trawl through the seedy, underbelly of New York City. The game's premise is as shallow as it gets, but thanks to the excellent plot and cinematic stylings you'll forgive it's 'shoot, run, shoot' mechanic and learn to appreciate it's no-holds-barred...
Summary: This game has a style all of its own! from the graphics(which are great!) to dark comic book style cut scenes. You play the part of Max Payne a tough new york cop on various story based levels. The game has one great feature which is bullet time! this allows you to slow time down as you dive through doorways to take out bad guys, as well as rolling and spinning through the air.

Summary: This game has one down side and that is it's length. It took about a day to finish (but that was playing non stop). The pro's certainly out weight that one con. The game looks amazing, plays amazing, every bullet time move looks so good (if you like John Woo Movies you'll love the action in this). Even though I have finished the game the reply value is huge, it has varying difficulties and timed levels.
Summary: The first Max Payne was fantastic and groundbreaking in its playing style, storyline and graphics! But this sequel is ever better... Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne offers new challenges, based on the original. However the graphics are smoother and you have a better choice of weapons. As with the original you have the option of bullet-time, which plays the action in slow motion allowing you to take out a whole room of enemies without taking a single hit!
