Summary: I have been looking for a mix up from the usual FPSs to play 4 player split screen with and this was perfect. Single player is a bit dry, but the multiplayer is seriously lots of fun and easy to pick up, though gets pretty competitive early on! and the mad physics on the vehicles make for a good laugh.
Summary: This is one of the most fun games on the old PS2, especially playing with others in multiplayer mode. The weapons are quite varied and add a lot to the gameplay. I would count this suitable for younger players as I think you can turn off the cursing that probably gives it the 12 rating.
Summary: Most fun to play with a bunch of friends. Relaxing and really easy to learn game for everyone, gets your adrenaline going! Even though physics-engine is terrible in some points, I must say that might be one of the things that makes this game so fun to play.
Summary: Built on a similar ethos to the Micro Machines games Mashed is an update for the 128bit generation of gamers but with more of a focus on weaponry rather than just pure racing tactics. As a single player game it's entertaining but to be honest feels like nothing special and can prove frustrating at times with opponent AI and some collisions being unpredictable. It's fun nonetheless but totally comes into its own in multiplayer.
Summary: One of the main problems with multiplayer games is that the guy who owns the game invariably ends up winning every time you play. This means that eventually, everyone else gets sick of losing and want to play something else! Not so with Mashed. This game is very easy to learn (Steer the car, accelerate and brake, fire weapons and thats about it) and in great fun to play. The single player game is ok - not amazing, but still fun to play.
Summary: hi, this is an amazing game - excellent in 1 player mode with lots of varied challenges. BUT in 2 player mode it really comes into its own - it is the most addictive 2 player game i have ever tried - no annoying split screen either - its a truely fab game, with superb graphics, awesome handling on the vehicles, and outstanding weapons. in short, buy it. You will not be sorry.
Summary: Having played the original Mashed, I welcome the release of fully loaded. Its not a sequel - its not intended to be. Its release is merely to bring the game up the standard it was meant to be before its rushed release. Nothing more. Its more graphically polished and they've added some new tracks to make the game better value Multiplayer is an amazing experience, and as has been said before the single player isnt that great.
