Summary: i bought this game late may and received it a couple of weeks later. it did say though that it might take up to 20 days for me to recieve since it was shipping from NC and i live in CA so i was expecting a delay but havent stopped playin it since i got it and it was in real new condition just like the description said im very happy w/ this purchase and would definitely recommend
Summary: I have to admire two things. One is the dedication to the characters which look great and are fun to play with, though a tad unbalanced. The other thing is the story mode which was a really cool, if flawed, idea. I'll be first to admit it's not the greatest game play in the world, but it's a fighting game; usually you just beat up all of the other characters in sequence.
Summary: This game is really good! Although it doesn't vary much the gameplay across stages, the characters are so faithful to the comics (and therefore different among themselves) that you'll really enjoy it!! The storyline is simple at first, but intrincate and functional as the game progresses, and the scenaries are very interactive. Also, the cards and comics and movies you unlock during the game are really worthwile!! I strongly recommned for every comics fan!
Summary: I was reluctant to purchase this game due to the mediocre reviews on some of the game sites, so I decided to buy a used copy. I have played the game for about 3 hours, and I'm pleased with the game so far. The story is not that deep, and the production quality of the cut scenes for the origin story of the Imperfects are not as good as the rest of the games. They use real life actors with narration to tell the stories.
Summary: Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects is an interesting anomaly. It's a marvel game that isn't based on a movie. That in and of itself is amazing, seemingly the only time we get super hero games nowadays is if they are tied in to a movie or successful cartoon series. I have found this trend quite disturbing for some time now, not only because I am a fan of comic books, but because most super heroes seem like a perfect fit for the video game world.
Summary: When I was playing SNK VS. Capcom with a group of people we decided to play this game. We were appalled by it's bad gameplay. Unlike great fighters like Street Fighter, Soulcalibur, Dead or Alive, and Tekken, this game does a poor job of being a fighter. To start off the camera angle that this game uses is a terrible angle for fighters which made it confusing to jump on things to get to an opponent. There is also a lack of combat moves, so the game gets boring quickly.
