Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

ZTGameDomain.com
3 July 2010
  • Excerpt: You could almost hear the simultaneous sigh from comic book aficionados when they found out their beloved franchise had been snatched up by the software giant EA. Tales of mediocre rehashes and lame movie licensed games were heard everywhere, and these nerds of old didn’t know what was about to happen to some of their favorite characters. Thankfully not all is lost, while EA’s upcoming effort will never top the likes of Marvel Vs.

Game Over Online

  • Excerpt: This is the kind of fighting game you make when you've never played a fighting game before in your life. Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects owes a pretty heavy stylistic debt to 3D brawlers like Power Stone . You're tossed into an arena with one or more other characters, with plenty of local hazards and throwable items, and whoever's still standing at the end is the winner. To get all the characters and backgrounds for the Vs.

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

The Armchair Empire

  • Conclusion: Marvel-based game are the Imperfects, a group of villainous beings who have all been mutated and mutilated in some way by the alien Van Roekel, who’s attempting to create the “perfect” fighting creatures. The Imperfects have actually been featured in a tie-in Marvel comic mini-series.

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

Level 7
6 November 2006
